Pregnant Mommy Kicks Back in Maternity Portrait Session

This mommy is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and even teaches classes. He’ll be coming to the local dojo kicking beside his mommy late this September.

Christy and Michael’s Wedding at the Charleston Maritime Center

The wind took the edge off this late July outdoor wedding! Located right on Charleston Harbor, the Charleston Maritime Center has phenomenal views of the bridge and the grand piers. Christy and Mike had more fun than I’ve seen in a long time. We experiemented with some new photography techniques, including breaking in our new Radio Poppers (a remote flash tool) and bracketing the camera to the tent top during the ceremony (best 1st kiss shot ever!)

Gailliard Auditorium Performance

Holly and Mike were up for anything for their engagement shoot walk down Calhoun St. We found some great spots over by Gailliard Auditorium.

Blue Steel engagement photo at Boone Hall Plantation

Katie and Zach had me (Mell Bell) laughing a lot during their engagement session, so I thought to share the joy with you.

This is their Blue Steel pose, but thankfully they were ambi-turners.

Ever feel like this?

Like you’re about to fall off the end of the line?

James got this one at Martha and Jordan’s Wedding.

Lauren and Chad’s 50s Inspired Engagement Session

Lauren and Chad are getting married this December, and I (Mell Bell) and of course my BFF Wanda are almost as excited as they are about their upcoming wedding. Lauren called me a few weeks ago describing her outfit from the 50s style dress right down to the red peep toe shoes. Since then, I’ve been scheming of ways to incorporate a 50s feel to their engagement session. I hope you enjoy this collection from their session:
